Susanne Haddad, the new Director of FOCUS Houston, was born and raised in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls, New Jersey. She has been in Houston for six years, where she attends St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
Susanne has been active in several ministries for most of her life and has chaired a variety of retreats, board meetings, and conferences. One of the most impactful ministries in her life is the Antiochian Village Summer Camp. Susanne has been involved with the Village from its founding in 1978 where she served alongside her mother, Pearl Nahass, who was the first camp nurse. Over the years Susanne has been a Village camper, counselor, staff member, and volunteer.
Alongside her extensive ministry experience, Susanne has over twenty-five years of combined experience in business management, space planning & design, construction project management, facilities management, retail & training program development, event planning & coordination, sales, and marketing. She has worked for several large companies including Calvin Klein, Movado, and Knoll, and has also started and owned several of her own businesses.
Viviana Ayala, was born and raised in Houston, TX. With a background in customer service, education, and the arts, she loves bringing people together through events. Her passion for helping others has been a guiding force through her life, and she looks forward to creating a positive impact in our community through collaboration with others. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, spending time in nature, cooking and hanging out with family and friends.
